1. Action:
The non-rotating bolt body allows for a smooth action never known before.

2. Locking-lug lock without moment of flexion:
It is very suitable for cartridges with highest gas-pressures. An opening angle of only 65° allows for a very low scope mounting.

3. Decisive safety features:
The slide safety is conveniently located on thereceiver tang and is fitted out with a stop. Thus the SAUER 90 safety secures the sear and trigger and prevents at the same time an unintentional opening of the bolt handle.
The SAUER 90 allows for the opening of the bolt by pressing the button fixed on the bolt handle – even in safety position.

4. The signal pin:
On the left side of the receiver-head there’s а signal pin, indicating if a cartridge is in the barrel.

5. Detachable box-magazine with shoulder support for the cartridge:
The detachable box-magazine allows you to carry the magazine filled, but separate from rifle. As soon as necessary, the rifle can be made ready for firing by simply inserting the magazine and closing the bolt. The loading and unloading of the rifle is simple, quick and allows for a high rate of fire.
The feeding of the cartridge is precise, smooth and easy.

6. Dual trigger system with set trigger:
The patented trigger mechanism, specially developed for your SAUER 90/92, is a crisp shotgun trigger with set trigger. You know it of your combination guns. The set trigger and position of the slide safety are the same as on your combination gun. In future you need no longer to rethink when you change the guns.
The trigger is being set by putting the thumb behind the trigger and press the trigger to the front until it engages.
When opening the bolt, the set trigger de-sets itself automatically. This is a very special safety feature.

7. Exellent accuracy:
Due to a reduced time of impact, to avoidance of damaging bullets during feeding process, to hammer forged barrel of high quality steel, to the connection between barrel and receiver, to barrels fitted in by hand and a specially big receiver-rest in the stock.
